About Us

G&P Orphanage Foundation is a Christian humanitarian organisation operating in the area of providing life’s solution to orphans particularly in Nigeria and in West Africa at large. We raise funds to build orphanages as well as support other orphanages. Inspired by Christian values, G&P Foundation is dedicated to working with the world’s most negleted people. We provide solution to the needs of orphans, ranging from education and scholarships, feeding, accommodation to moral education in Nigeria in particular and in Anglophone West Africa at large, we aim to engage Nigerians in the fight against the poor welfare of orphans and injustice.

G&P Orphanage Foundation is a registered charity and NGO in Australia and Nigeria. A lot of people within and without Nigeria entrust money to G&P Foundation in the country. With this support, G&P Foundation has helped over 40 orphans in the last 8 months. As well as providing information on healhty family issues to families, we work on projects that address the causes of broken homes, early marriages and high death rate amongst adults and help people live longer with their families.

In the last 3 years, an estimate of 106 million children under age 15 lost one or both parents. A projected estimate of another 186 million children of same age group, during the next 3 years, will lose either or both parents. This is due to early marriage and high death rate which is common in adult population. G&P Foundation’s work helps helps raise funds to provide solution to the needs of those orphans as well as improve the lives of people in communities living in poverty.

We have five homes in four States in the south-south and southeast of Nigeria. We have an administrative office in Abuja, the federal capital territory of Nigeria. We depend on the support of the people around the world for funding, with the majority of income coming from child sponsorship. Other avenues include orphans’ housing appeals, Government grants, partnership and cash donations .

Our Mission and Values

As a child focused organisation, G&P Orphanage Foundation is committed to the protection and welare of orphans and does not accept volunteers or employ staff whose background is not suitable for working with children. Our mission is to offer scholarship, free feeding and condusive accommodation as well as good spiritual up bringing to orphans and the down-troden in a state-of-the-art facility.
